dc.description.abstractMutual Fund industry is known to be the fastest growing financial industry in the world’s Financial Market. Bangladesh is going to have a rise in the numbers of mutual fund for the last couple of years. Mutual Funds pool money from the investors and then inject in the capital market under discretionary advises of experienced portfolio managers. Now the most important factor is the fund which will be pooled from potential investors. Any Fund manager needs to ensure the investors about the potential market return which is usually made through the help of the research wing. The Research Team of the fund do some in depth research of different industries and try to justify why the fund manager should invest in some particular industries rather than the rest. This report mainly consists of three main parts; Potentialities, Barriers and Positive indicators of the banking industry of Bangladesh in the context of Mutual Fund. This report is done for attracting the potential investors from mutual fund perspectives. This report maintains a Top down Approach, starting from the industry to the company, to find the investment potentialities of the top performers in the industryen_US
