| dc.description.abstract | A library provides different types of services to its readers or users. If we think or look thirty
years back when modern technologies and the internet were not available, digital communication
was totally out of thought then physical services were the only way of library services. But for a
few years there was a dramatic change in mode of library services. Now the users can use and
avail the almost full facilities from home “save the time of the reader”. Once there was a
provision of card catalogue but now it is converted to online cataloguing. If we look back to the
90's we can see few libraries have computers to store information and there was no option of
network. Information Technology (IT), RFID, Koha, one of the most used library management
software in the world, Plagiarism checking system, have brought a revolutionary change in
