| dc.description.abstract | This case examines ShopUp, a Bangladesh-based fintech and lendtech platform founded in 2016 that supports social-media-driven micro-entrepreneurs through credit evaluation and business service solutions. Using the Business Model Canvas framework, it analyzes how ShopUp integrates financing facilitation, digital marketing, logistics, and shop management into a unified service ecosystem. The platform reduces loan processing delays by connecting entrepreneurs with financial partners such as BRAC while leveraging strategic collaborations with service providers like DHL. The study highlights ShopUp’s value proposition in enabling home-based businesses, its scalable partnership-driven model, and its role in fostering digital entrepreneurship. It also discusses challenges and sustainability of rapid diversification. | en_US |
